Dear Apple

  Kyle @ 3:15 pm

Please keep your trojan-horse style, shotty software in OS X where it belongs. Thank you.

Were you there?

  Kyle @ 1:58 am

This is, without question, one of my all-time favorite hymns. When I was younger, I would perform it on solo violin for church on Good Friday. Times change and people grow, but this piece still touches me as profoundly now as it always has. I’ve attached a recording I just completed… a very simple, sparse rendition of this old hymn… played by a lone violin.

WereYouThere.mp3

Were you there when they crucified my Lord
Were you there when they crucified my Lord
Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble
Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Were you there when they nailed him to the tree
Were you there when they nailed him to the tree
Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble
Were you there when they nailed him to the tree

Were you there when they laid him in the tomb
Were you there when they laid him in the tomb
Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble
Were you there when they laid him in the tomb

Well were you there when the stone was rolled away
Were you there when the stone was rolled away
Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble
Were you there when the stone was rolled away

Darn you Apple

  Kyle @ 2:02 pm

Add this to the list of reasons why I dislike Apple so much! Safari is an inferior web browser in Windows (it suffers from the same performance issues as iTunes since Apple insists on cloning their interface rather than using the default system UI guidelines). In my opinion, this is no better than implanting spyware. Get your act together Apple, you’ve always claimed to be classier than this.

Safari

PS: How can this POSSIBLY be a 22.65 MB download? Firefox is only 5 MBs!
