Add this to the list of reasons why I believe Sony is the most moronic major electronics company alive today.
Sony’s CEO is recently quoted as saying “I’ve played a Nintendo Wii. I don’t see it as a competitor. It’s more of an expensive niche game device.”
This is despite the fact that, so far this year, the Nintendo Wii has outsold the two other major game platforms… COMBINED!
Wii: 2.8 million
PS3: 1.2 million
360: 1.12 million
Good thing Sony knows so much better than Nintendo, heaven forbid they “drop” to Wii’s level. Oh wait, they’re trying to do just that! Stupid Sony.
