Wall-E

The newest trailer for the next Pixar film has been released on the web… and I CAN’T WAIT for this movie!

It’s the year 2700 and mankind is abandoning earth, but as they leave, they forget to turn off one little robot named “Wall-E”. Wall-E is a waste management bot who goes on a quest to discover what he’s “really built for”.

I have loved Pixar since long before the days of Toy Story, and am extremely excited about this new film. For each project they do, the company takes on one or more technical challenges. For “Monsters, Inc” it was fur. For “Finding Nemo”, it was water. For “Wall-E”, it is atmosphere! Refraction, reflection, color absorption, etc… spectacular! Additionally, the film lacks traditional dialog! Everything is done in the form of electro-mechanical beeps, squeaks, etc. Think R2-D2 from “Star Wars”.

The first trailer has been around for a while now, and can be viewed on the official webpage… here: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/wall-e/

The newly released trailer can be found here: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809902253/video/4321697/20071001/

Additionally, Pixar has created a website for “Buy n Large” corporation… the fictitious robot company that created Wall-E. You can find that here: http://www.buynlarge.com/

Again… I ADORE Pixar and always have! Great work to everyone involved in that company!
